Question: Why can't I login to the Forum?
Answer: There are several possible reasons:
- You didn't register for the Forum.
- You did not use the same email address that you list as your primary email address within your PRO account. Register again for the Forum using that email address. (If you want to change your primary email address for PRO, log in to your back office ( http://myccmarketing.com ) and edit your
Profile.
- You did not register for PRO yet. You must register for CarbonCopyPRO before you can register for the Forum. See the instructions sent to you when you purchased the BiB.
- You registered but you did not confirm your registration in the "activation" email that was sent to you. You must click the link in that email to "activate" your account.
- But I never received the activation email--how can I activate my forum account if I never received the email? Check your spam/junk/bulk folder to see if the activation
email ended up there.
- I checked my spam folder and it's not there. Now what? The activation email was probably blocked at the server level by your ISP (Internet Service Provider). You might try accessing your email account via webmail and check the spam folder in your webmail account. Many ISP's block or
delay emails at the server level and you never know about it. There's usually some complicated instructions somewhere but many ISP's just assume that their customers want them to block suspected spam without really spelling it out clearly to the customer. I suggest getting a Gmail address instead
of your regular email unless you can figure out your ISP's policy re: blocking emails at the server level.
- But I use Yahoo Mail. Why didn't I receive the activation email? I've checked every folder in my Yahoo Mail account. Yahoo arbitrarily labels some emails "commercial" and delays or blocks delivery. They don't tell you about this policy and they do not tell you when they block or delay emails sent to you. I recommend using Gmail instead-- it's free; you can search all emails you archive; you don't need folders; and Google does not delay or block emails without your knowledge. You can get a free Gmail account.
- You might be using your PRO Username and Password instead of your Forum Username and Password. If you cannot remember your Forum Username and Password, please contact me. I will reset your password and then send you your Username and your new Password (which you can change after you log in to the Forum).
